[1]; “And they were not commanded but to worship God by making religion pure for Him rightfully and to perform prayer and to pay Zakat, and that is truly the upright religion.” This clearly indicates that worshiping God with a religion that has not been purified for Him and has been combined with beliefs and rulings originating from other than Him is not adequate, nor is it connected with His command, and from here the falsity or rejection of acts of worship that are based on conjecture or combined with innovations is understood; because conjectures are not from Islam, and one innovation in worship nullifies all of it.

2. Establishing the entirety of Islam

In addition to establishing the original form of Islam purely and free from unreal beliefs and rulings, it is necessary to establish the entirety of Islam perfectly and free from division and preference; because Islam is a coherent and interconnected collection, like an accurate system and a chain connected by links, each part of which has been legislated with regard to its other parts, in a way that it could have not been legislated without the other parts, and perhaps its legislation would have defeated the purpose; like the beads of prayer beads, each of which has been made as a part of the whole and has no value by itself, nor is it useful except within the whole, and therefore, the existence of its parts is contingent on the existence of its entirety, and with its entirety being destroyed, its parts will be destroyed as well. This is how the parts of Islam have been legislated in view of its entirety, and they are not useful unless the entirety of it is established, but rather it may be harmful to establish some of them alone if it is not established entirely; like medicines that a doctor prescribes in view of their combination with each other, and it is dangerous to take some of them separately from others; as God Almighty has said: ﴿وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا[2]; “And we reveal from the Quran what is healing and mercy for believers while it increases oppressors only in loss.” This means that the Quran, although it naturally brings healing and mercy, it is harmful to oppressors who do not establish it in entirety or in part.
