as God Almighty has said: ﴿ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوا إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَبَاءُوا بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُ[1]; “They were struck by ignominy wherever they are found except with a rope from God and a rope from people, and they incurred wrath from God and were struck by wretchedness,” and said: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّى يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ[2]; “Indeed, God will not change anything for a people until they change what is in themselves.”

Briefly, establishing the entirety of Islam is possible as much as it is necessary, except that it is contingent on having the knowledge about the entirety of it, and having the knowledge about the entirety of it is possible only for its Legislator and inevitably received from Him, and He has bestowed it either on all people of Islam, while He has not done so, or on some of them so that others may learn it from them, and there is no doubt that He has done this work; because He has not done the other work, and therefore, knowing them is essential to know the entirety of Islam, and for this reason, it is possible as well; in the sense that inevitably, the necessary means to know them have been created by God and can be searched for; as the necessary ways to have access to them have been set by God and can be followed, and this is what will be talked about, Insha’Allah.

[Establishing some parts of Islam is contingent on establishing the entirety of it]

It is hereby understood that establishing a part of Islam alone, while its other parts are not established, is a matter of caution; because every part of Islam has been legislated with regard to establishing the entirety of it and commensurate with its other parts, and therefore, it is useful and can be established when the parts related to it have been established; considering that the parts of Islam are correlative, affect each other, and are affected by each other, and if some of them are not established, the establishment of others will be ineffective but possibly harmful.
