in the sense that whatever God approves of is good, and whatever God detests is bad, and this is the basis which they have called “religious goodness and badness”, and according to Adliyyah, the basis of goodness and badness is not the command and prohibition of God, but rather the basis of the command and prohibition of God is goodness and badness, and the basis of goodness and badness is the intellect, not Sharia; in the sense that God has commanded whatever is good and forbidden whatever is bad, and goodness and badness are real titles that have not arisen based on the validity of Sharia, and this is the basis which they have called “intellectual goodness and badness”. Whereas according to what we said, the intellect and Sharia have stemmed from One Origin and return to One Returning Point, which is indeed God that there is no disagreement in His creational and legislative actions. Therefore, the basis of goodness and badness is the command and prohibition of God, except that the command and prohibition of God have been represented in two forms: one is the legislative command and prohibition manifested in Sharia, and the other is the creational command and prohibition manifested in the intellect, and since it is impossible for the command and prohibition of God to be combined in one subject, the contradiction between Sharia and the intellect is not possible. Consequently, the basis of goodness and badness is God Almighty.

The second introduction; impediments to cognition

Observing what can be known, if it is done in the light of the intellect, requires knowing it; like observing what can be seen; if it is done in the brightness of light, it requires seeing it. However, it often happens that a person observes something to know its goodness or badness, but he does not achieve his purpose, and sometimes achieves the opposite of his purpose, meaning that he knows goodness as badness and badness as goodness;
