Impediments to Cognition; Ignorance (2)
(I seek refuge to God from expelled Shaytan
In the Name of God, the merciful and the most beneficent
Praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace be upon Mohammad and his purified Family
After our Master, Mansoor has proved the necessity of seeking knowledge for any Muslim, by relying on intellectual requirements and definite Quranic and traditional reasons and unveiled the lack of sufficiency for recognizing the beliefs and rules of Islam, he considers ignorance as the origin of all Muslims’ problems in every individual and social fields and explains the dimensions of it among them and under the title of:)
[Ignorance; the origin of all the Muslims’ problems]
(He says:) There’s no doubt (since it is evident and perceptible that the material, spiritual, individual and social) that Muslims’ problems, more than anything (since it has a prior and causative aspect) is because of ignorance that has surrounded them; since (based on induction) they are surrounded by the ignorance from three sides: (He interprets as being surrounded, so that it is clearly defined that they are in a predicament and it is difficult for them to get rescued and if they are not rescued soon, they will be ruined. The first dimension which is the most important of all and is regarded as the axis for two other dimensions, is)
[Ignorance of Islam]
(Means unfamiliarity with the actual beliefs and the real rules of Islam, therefore he says:) On one hand, they (typically) do not know Islam (as it really is, apart from innovations and baseless conceptions) and make no any effort for its cognition (due to the fact that its cognition, requires scientific and research effort); rather their effort (prior to cognition of Islam and more than that) is made for (acquiring) the world and their (learners’ limited and insufficient) cognition is (also) based on imitation (Therefore, our Master Mansoor divides people who are ignorance about Islam into two groups: a group that do not make any efforts for cognition of Islam at all, due to being busy with the worldly engagements and they are common people who do not have any care but for eating, sleeping and matrimony and spending time, and the other group who make effort in cognition of Islam, but their cognition of it is based on conjectural methods and approaches such as imitation, and they are the elites who are engaged in teaching and discussing in the religious schools and colleges based on conjectures and imitations.); as God has said: «مَا لَهُمْ بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ ۚ»; “They do not have knowledge about that unless following conjecture!” (Apart from those who do not seek the knowledge of Islam at all, and those who seek the knowledge of Islam through conjectural ways) Even those among them who (are pragmatic and under different titles like propagation or Jihad, in their own opinion) are making effort for Islam and have no intentions but serving that, often do not recognize it by intellect (meaning by the intellectual and certain fundamentals) and have no basis but emotions (and warm religious feelings); to the extent that most of them (meaning most of these unaware and passionate pragmatics) are like sheep going anywhere they are driven (by the shepherd or sheepdog, without perception and distinction. This is the narration of God’s Word about those who have intellect, but do not use it; where He has said: «أُولَٰئِكَ كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَ»; “they are like the beasts, they are even more misguided; they are the same unaware people!”)! While their ignorance (about Islam), breaks their purpose (which is serving it) and their unawareness (of its facts), leads to something against their intention (of their effort for it, meaning that they want to serve Islam, but since they do not have a proper cognition of it, they harm it and they want to respect and promote it, but since they are not aware of the real beliefs and rules of it, they cause weakness and decline of it); considering that loving Islam before its cognition is not useful (since it is merely emotions and may not lead to a proper and efficient action) and taking action for it before knowing it, is hazardous (since it may lead to the defeat of purpose and a reverse result); since an ignorant lover, (due to his love) wishes to cause it benefit but (due to his ignorance) causes it harm and a negligent functor, (due to his pragmatism) wishes to serve Islam, but (due to his unawareness) betrays it (like the famous Aunt Shah’s story who shed to serve his beloved owner and give benefit to him, but knocked his nose with a stone, for the purpose of shooing a fly away!). Therefore, cognition of Islam is prior to its love (it means that one must first have a cognition of Islam and then must love it) and knowing it is essential before taking action for it (it means that one must first gain the knowledge of Islam and then go on to the field, beat, cut, kill and die for it!); but it seems that most of Muslims, love Islam while they do not know it (properly), and perform it while they do not have any (sufficient) knowledge about it (see how this compassionate and reformer scholar, warns of a great and harmful fault among Muslims and invite them toward cognition prior to affection and knowledge prior to action, so that they do not cause themselves to be killed due to ignorance, and do not cause others to be ruined due to negligence!); such as people about whom God has Said: «وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا أَمَانِيَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ»; “And some of them are illiterate people who regard religion nothing but dreams and do nothing but conjecture!” (It means that they have no intellectual and certain knowledge of God’s Book as His Religion, and have some conceptions of it only based on the wishes meaning their own feelings and imaginations, and act based on conjecture about their accuracy! See these different groups and communities in the world of Islam that how each of them has raised a flag and has gathered a number of people around it, and fight with their opposers and shed some blood and make some women widowed and some children orphans, while they have no certain cognition of the religion and have no intellectual and legitimate proof and only follow a conjectural conception. It is so stupid that a human gets himself and others into trouble to this extent, based on his personal and conjectural conception, and causes this much destruction on earth! See these youth who are attracted to ISIS that how they have cut off their relationship with their own families and have suffered the legal and illegal trips to Iraq and Syria and have put their own life into risk of annihilation and have contaminated their hands with bloodshed and violating the Muslim’s honor, in order to enforce the duty of Jihad, to their own view and realize the dream of the Islamic Caliphate! While most of them are either new Muslims who have not yet learned the ABC of Islam or are the illiterate youth who are unfamiliar with Islamic resources, and have only been influenced by the Wahhabite hypocrite and wicked missioners and have been driven to this domain! Furthermore, most of them are the same youth, attracted by Taliban and Al-Qaeda and other groups in the world of Islam and now have left them with the appearance of ISIS and have joined this group and will join another group that will presumably appear later, that kill more people than ISIS and steal more money from them! The ignorant and sentimental supporters of other groups typically are the same too, and all follow something of which they do not have any knowledge about. This is a great catastrophe that has caused Mahdi a big sorrow and has made Mansoor to sigh from his heart! We have witnessed his honor’s tears because of these ignorant and enthusiastic Muslims so many times, to the extent that we have burst into tears altogether! He feels so much grief witnessing these benevolent but misguided youth who love Islam but have no cognition of it and wish to serve it but cause it damage! I swear to God that we sometimes get worried about this Good Servant of God, insomuch we witness the sorrow and regret in him! We say to ourselves that how is our Master Mahdi peace be upon him?! Oh God! Come to the Muslims’ help and rescue these youth! Oh God! Teach the ignorant people and Guide the misguided people! Oh God! There is no one except You Who Can rescue this people! Oh God! Save this Ummah!
But a question which is proposed here is, what is the reason for this ignorance about Islam in Muslims? Our Master Mansoor answers this question under the title of)
[The Causes for Ignorance of Islam]
(and says:) This unfamiliarity of them about (real) Islam, is the heritage of their predecessors (from the Islamic first centuries until the recent century) that has risen due to different causes (Our Master Mansoor refers here to the most important of these causes in a completely tangible and applicable condition, and with a deep conception of the origins of deviation among Muslims says:) such as they do not make sufficient dedication to know Islam (in practice and do not try hard to gain the knowledge of it) and (in theory) are ignorant about its incumbency for each of them (objectively, and put their own duty on some Muslim jurists and by doing so, break those unlucky people with a heavy burden and make themselves astray!) and as they do not regard the intellect as cognition standard (theoretically) and do not care about the conformity of their perceptions of Islam to Islam (practically, which means that the irrationality of their conceptions of Islam is not important for them, as long as it is compatible with their illusions and imaginations), rather they run away from that (meaning intellect, due to the incompatibility of its rules with their style and interests) and are pride themselves on quitting it (since they regard quitting it as their devotion or obligation to Sunnah!) and like they rely on the conjectural narrations for the purpose of recognizing Islamic beliefs, although their certainty is necessary (considering the lack of sufficiency of conjecture in the beliefs, while the beliefs that are based on the conjectural narrations, are conjectural), rather they follow the sect of theologian (such as Ash’ari and Ibn Taymiyyah) following of whom, has no principle in Islam (since Quran and Sunnah have not legislated it.) and as if they do not refer (directly) to the original sources of Islam (meaning Quran and Sunnah) for cognition of its (juridical) rules, but imitate the jurists’ sects (such as the four Imams of the Sunnite and the imitation references of Shiite) of whom there is no reason for imitating them (rationality and legitimately), rather, there are reasons for not imitating them (since intellect considers imitating the fallible person to cause conjecture and Shariah, considers the conjecture insufficient; as he explains it in details as following.) and as if they pay less attention to the Quran than to the narrations for cognition of Islamic beliefs and edicts (This is a false approach which more or less exists among all Muslims of all sects and is not concealed from Our Master Mansoor, while Quran is the Cable of Allah the Great, and is undoubtedly prior to narrations and must not be neglected, but unfortunately most of Muslims are neglecting it and refer and cite more to the narrations than to Quran), but, they ignore the disagreement of one belief or rule with the Quran, if there was a narration for it (on one hand, due to their pessimism toward Quran, as they consider it conjectural indication or non-comprehensive for themselves and on the other hand, due to their optimism toward the narrations, as they consider them definitive indication and true), to the extend that some of their beliefs (completely) oppose the Quran and some of their deeds are (one hundred percent) contrary to It (we seek refuge to God, as if they intend to grimace against and act stubbornly toward it!), such as their belief about seeing God with eyes (based on the appearance of narrations that consider it possible and definite in the hereafter), while it is explicitly contrary to the Quran (since Quran says explicitly and with a generality of this world and the other world: «لَا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصَارَ ۖ» [Ana’am/ 103]; “The eyes do not percept Him and He Percepts the eyes” and says: «قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنْظُرْ إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ لَنْ تَرَانِي» [A’araf/ 143]; “Said: Oh Lord! Show me to look at you! Said: You will never see Me!” But these people, because they pay less attention to Quran and are bewildered by the narrations, believe that the eyes percept God and will see Him! This was a belief-related example. But since Our Master Mansoor regarded this aberration approach of Muslims to be inclusive of the Islamic beliefs and rules, gives a jurisprudential example and says:) and their verdict on occurrence of three divorces at (one) session (meaning that a man can triple divorce his wife in one session, without any waiting period between those divorces!), while it is contrary to the appearance of the Quran (since Quran says in ultimate manifestation that: «إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ ۖ» [Talaq/ 1] “When you divorce your wives, divorce them while observing their waiting period and keep their waiting period after divorce”; Meaning that divorcing the wives is not authentic without observing and considering the waiting period after divorce) and as they regard some of the narration books (such as Sihah Sitta and especially Bukhari and Muslim) are correct (in a way that they claim the whole content of those two books are true and authentic), even they compare them with the Quran (in a way that for example they say Sahih Bukhari is the most correct book after Quran, or like some stupid, fanatic and defiant people say that it is not lie to name the Sahih Bukhari the Book of Allah! While this word is infidelity!) and (moreover) know them (these books) as the most important basis for cognition of Islam (in a way that they know Islam based on Bukhari and Muslim), while (these books, with a criticizing and impartial look) they have no correctness more than other (narrative and their contemporary) books, but perhaps they are weaker than some other books (such as Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal or before it, Al-Musannaf of Abd al-Razzaq ibn Humam, which had more moderate and intellectual approaches comparing to Bukhari and Muslim), and there are weak and fake narrations among them (to which he refers in another chapter of the book), such as the book named “Sahih Bukhari” in which (in all fairness, is transformed into an idol for Muslims and the ultimate exaggeration and prejudice has been done to it, and has influenced on Muslims’ worldview and moral more than Quran, while) weakness of most of the narrations even based on the Ahl Al-Hadith (that the authenticity of the reliable and memorizer narrators is not eccentric and denounced) is clear (since there are so many narrations that has not been narrated by the reliable and memorizer narrations and are extremely eccentric and denounced), to the extent that denying it, is nothing but denial of common sense (due to the fact that some of the narrators were not authorized by Bukhari and Muslim themselves, and some others were accused by most of the Ahl Al-Hadith of various innovations and aberrations) and as they ignore some of Sahih narrations (although they are authentic on their own basis) and regard (falsely and fanatically) some of the Sahih ones as weak, since they do not agree with their sect, although those narrations agree with the Quran and intellect (and the criterion for authenticity of Hadith, is its agreement with Quran and intellect, not its agreement with their sect), such as narrations (known as Thaqalayn) about necessity of resorting to the Ahl Al-Bayt of prophet Mohammad (PBUH) (beside the Book of Allah, which they either falsely and fanatically consider them as weak or acknowledge their authenticity, but neglect their meaning and implication), While they consider some of the weak narrations Sahih (falsely and fanatically), rather accept some of the fake narrations (meaning false and fictitious), because they are in agreement with their (religious and political) opinions, although they do not agree with the Quran and intellect, such as narrations about the necessity of obeying the oppressive rulers (that say obeying the oppressor and sinner rulers is obligatory and their allegiance must be kept and they must not be dismissed due to their oppressions and sins) and as they avoid observing the history of Islam (and studying its authentic and first-hand resources) and prevent each other (and say that studying the history of Islam by these authentic and first-hand resources is not appropriate), even they conceal some of the events of that (which happened at the dawn of Islam and especially the first century of Hijri, which are relevant to the disagreements among the companions and their deviations from the line of Islam, in a way that they do not tell them to people) or distort them intentionally (in a manner that they either omit them from the new versions of the authentic and first-hand books or write new books for justifying and paraphrasing and falsifying them, so that people are entertained and do not refer to them), lest they get deviated by awareness of that (events and incidents of the dawn of Islam), while they are not guided unless by awareness of that (since naturally, the lack of awareness in people will lead them to misguidance, not their awareness and the awareness of the events and incidents of the dawn of Islam, is necessary for the awareness of the origins and roots of today’s events and incidents) and as they do not refer to books other than their owns (religious) and do not look at the opposing Muslims’ books (from other sect), rather they avoid hearing opposition speeches (meaning opinions) and fear from knowing their reasons (for these opinions), lest they get deviated by becoming aware of them or lest (in fact) they become aware of their own deviation (see how Our Master Mansoor like an expert psychotherapist and psychologist, splits the depths of the Muslims’ deviations and reveals their hidden motivations! He says they are apparently afraid of getting misguided through awareness of others’ opinions and reasons, but they are in fact afraid of being aware of their own misguidance) and this is because of the doubt in which they are sunk (a dark and deep doubt in their subconscious minds which exists in the heart of all followers of conjectures!) Like those about whom God has Said: «بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ»; “Rather they are playing in a doubt!” (These were the most important factors and origins of ignorance about Islam that this divine scholar declared through divine inspiration. But the question is that what are the consequences of this ignorance about Islam for Muslims? In response to this question, under the title of)
[Consequences of Ignorance of Islam]
(he says:) The outcome of this (ignorant) approach is that Islamic beliefs are inverted (meaning distorted) and its rules are reversed (meaning turned upside down, and this is the utmost deviation and calamity; since no deviation and calamity more than this is imaginable). Explicit polytheism (such as believing in direction and motion and real parts for God) is regarded as monotheism (and its believers call themselves monotheists and consider others as polytheists) and obvious innovation (in the rules of Islam) is considered as Sunnah (as he mentions some instances of it in some parts of this book)! Obvious (meaning clear and definite) Halal are introduced as Haram and obvious Haram are called Halal (of which there are so many instances and Our Master Mansoor mentions some of them, under the topic The book of God and jurisprudential topics of this book)! Those who are definitely unbelievers, are considered as Muslims and those who are definitely Muslims, have been considered as unbelievers! (There are some possibilities about the meaning of his honor about these two groups that who they are, but the strongest possibility is that the first group is House of Saud; since his honor explicitly regards them as unbelievers in some part of this book and the strongest possibility about the second group, is that they are the Shiites that are excommunicated by House of Saud, but they are definitely Muslims.) The wrong is masked by the right (and this is the very hypocrisy about which he will talk in continuation, in details) and the right is covered under the veil of the wrong! (That is the very doubts that have surrounded his Islamic invitation and have manifested it to be wrong in many Muslims’ opinions! We seek refuge to God from that hypocrisy and from these doubts that have made cognition extremely difficult for Muslims!) Every day a faction appears somewhere (he has mentioned “appear” for “day” since it is bright and causes things to become appear and his purpose by “every day” can be the truth and can be the reality and can be figurative which means succession and continuity) and every night a sect is created in a corner! (He has not used “appear” for “night”, rather has used “create”; since night lacks any light and does not causes things to become appear; as he has said “in a corner” in order to imply its concealment. His honor’s explanations is precise to this extend even in figurative things; since he is a wise human and an has an actualized intellect and his meaning by the sects and factions, is the very different processes and various claims which come up every day and night from anywhere and any corner and raise a flag and are uncountable as they are plenty! It has gone so far that there exists a spiritual guide at any neighborhood and an Imam and a God at any region! One calls himself Mahdi and another calls himself Mahdi’s messenger! One assumes himself Mahdi’s son and another assumes himself as Mahdi’s brother-in-law! There might be some people who assumed themselves, Mahdi’s uncles and other relatives and we have not yet had the luck to know them! It is a very bad time! There is some reason behind that when our Master Mansoor, this great and humble scholar, has started his intellectual call toward complete and pure Islam, with this much scientific serenity and consistency, based on the Book and mutawatir Sunnah of His prophet, some hasteful and suspicious people imagined that another claimant has been appeared! As if after the advent of Mahdi, they will probably have such a supposition about his excellency! While the dignity of this unique person of time is higher than to be placed in the line of these stupid people and those who place his honor in these stupid people’s line, have made the unfair people feel proud and accomplished the ultimate cruelty! How this perfect human that is so sharp-sighted and may not apply a word in an inappropriate place and performs ultimate rationality and absolutely says nothing about himself, is accused of false claims and is placed beside the stupid men that do not say and write anything but nonsense about Islam and exaggeration and flattery about themselves?! Is this a right and fair judgment?! While God Has repeatedly said in His book that the scholar is not equal to the ignorant one and the light is not considered equal to the darkness and an insightful person is not in line with a blind one and Has emphasized that we must judge fairly! O you unfair people! Why do you insult this great man?! Why do you charge him with false accusations?! Why do you place him in the line of those whom is not at their line and to whom his realm of thinking and discourse is glorified from any similarities?! Do you not see he does not say a word contrary to Quran and the definite Sunnah and does not take a step away from rationality?! Bring a word of him which is in contradiction with Quran and the definite Sunnah and show one of his stands which is distant one step from rationality! Do you not hear that he only invites toward Mahdi and have no claims about himself?! I swear to God that he does not need any claims and his evident status is more prominent than to go up and down by names and titles! He adorns the titles, the titles do not adorn him! Mansoor is the interpreter of Mahdi’s support and is the manifestation of the world of realities in which unrealities have no way. He is the one who has actualized the preparing of the grounds for the advent of Mahdi and preparing of the grounds for the advent of Mahdi has found meaning by him. “Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani” is not only his name, but has a factual interpretation derived from his real existence. He is “Mansoor” based on «إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ»; since he has risen through the support of God and God has Said: «إِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ». He is “Hashemi”; since he demands the rights of Bani Hashem against the Umayyads and prepares the grounds for the House of Muhammad’s sovereignty. He is “Khorasani”; since he has risen up from Khorasan region and has risen like the sun from the easternmost Islamic lands. It is clear that none of these facts are deniable and those who deny these facts, are stupid or oppressor people; since they deny objective and tangible realities. They are the affiliates of the very fictitious and unreal factions and sects that have had appeared before the advent of the truth, but now by rising the sun of Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani, are getting disappeared spontaneously and are twisting and moaning in the painful agony of this disappearing!
This is from the consequences of Ignorance about Islam in the words of this external and objective reality, and from other consequences of that in his words, is that) knowledge (in Muslims’ perceptions and conceptions) is replaced by conjecture and certainty is replaced by guess (meaning illusion that is weaker than conjecture); As God has Said: «إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ»; “They do not follow anything but conjecture and do nothing but conjecture!” while conjecture (since it has no single and constant cause) differs with different causes and guess (since it is caused by humans’ sense of imagination), is as numerous as the number of people and this (difference and plurality, due to its nature) create nothing but conflict; as already it (practically) has not created anything but conflict and (as it is obvious) Muslims are in quarrel at every corner (of the world of Islam. The Sunnites beat the Shiites and the Shiites beat the Sunnite and ISIS beats both of them and each one of them have groups in themselves that beat one another! May God Make all those ignorant people of the real Islam, come to a good end).
Wa salamualaikum wa rahmatullah
