the thing to wonder about is the existence of this current among Muslims; because a group of Muslims in the second and third centuries AH, under the influence of some political factors during the Umayyad rule and with the motive of justifying the disagreements of the Sahabah, inherited this atheistic belief and believed that the truth is dependent on the opinion of mujtahids and becomes numerous by the plurality of their opinion! In the supposition of this group called “Musawwibah”, whatever mujtahids consider true is true in the opinion of God as well, and whatever mujtahids do not consider true is not true in the opinion of God either! Therefore, mujtahids are not subject to the opinion of God, but rather God is subject to the opinion of mujtahids and creates the truth according to their opinion! It may be thought that this is a rare and obsolete theory expressed by a small group of ignorant Muslims, but the fact is that this theory is attributed to most of the Ash‘arites and many of the Mu‘tazilites, and men such as Abu Hanifa (d. 150 AH), Malik (d. 179 AH), al-Shafi‘i (d. 204 AH) and ibn Hanbal (d. 241 AH) have been mentioned among this group, which is not proven and is under dispute[1].

[Pluralists]

Anyway, this wrong approach, like many other wrong approaches that were common among the past people, has been transmitted to later generations and today can be seen among a number of Muslims as well. In addition, nowadays another group called “Pluralists” has appeared that openly believes in the plurality of the truth and its cognition and approves of different interpretations of a single text. There is no doubt that this current is not an Islamic current and has been created under the influence of atheistic currents;
